PHO TORO‘S — Restaurant in Baja California

The shrimp pho is really good! Especially the cream cheese-shrimp rolls. The customer service is great as well as the attention to detail and instructions on food orders.

UPDATE 9/10/21: Google Maps says they’re open. I called at least 10 times to place an order for pick up and the line would ring but no one would answer. At one point the phone even said the line was “busy” so I decided to just stop by. At 11:15 I was at the window trying to place an order and the girl with glasses. I asked her what time they open and she tells me they open at 11. I asked her why they weren’t answering the phone and she just stayed quiet and didn’t say anything. I told her I wanted to place an order and she said it would take 30 minutes. Which made me bad because I try to place an order over the phone, and had they answered I would have had time to get food and be at work by 12pm. This place has seriously gone down hill in the past few months and it’s due to the customer service. I’ve updated this review because previously their attention to their customers was great. It’s sad that it’s the same employee with glasses that always has a bad attitude, when you call on the phone she’s rude, and honestly it’s not worth coming to this place because of her. I’ve been a very loyal customer here, at one point even 2x per week and since she started working there she’s caused this restaurants customer service to go down. After today definitely won’t waste my time...

We came to this place because it was close to where we were. We had seen it while driving by once and decided to try it. The service is good, cant complain but not once did they come over to ask how we were doing. As for the taste and quality, well it was ok too. Its not the greatest as the food lacked something to be in the top ranking. Boba needs a little more boba.. Its still good to come back though. Place is clean and has a nice atmosphere. Calm and relaxing. No issues...

📝El pho más delicioso que he probado en Tijuana. El caldo destaca por sus sabores intensos, bien logrado. Con toques finos, especiados, dulces... Hablaré sobre el pho de Camarón qué es perfecto🤤: Verduras crujientes (brócoli, zanahoria, calabaza, cilantro y se corona a gusto con: Shop Suey, jalapeños, albahaca/hierbabuena, todo esto último en crudo, ah y que no falte el toque de limón. En un plato gigante de delicioso caldo, con fideo de arroz qué a pesar de ser bastantes no quieres parar de comerlos, y bastantes camarones de buen tamaño, lo cual es digno de mencionar, ya que en otros lugares de pho te dan muy pocos. En fin, podría seguir hablando de este plato que es mi favorito y a mi gusto el mejor del lugar y de Tijuana, por el que vuelvo siempre. Hacen una salsita de la casa te la sugiero para poner en la sopa. Recomiendo pedir uno grande y compartir y así aprovechas a pedir otro guiso. El lugar es simple, sin pretensiones, pero a este lugar se va comer no a calificar tomando fotos ☺️.
