Exceptional. Service: 10/10 & Food: 10/10 Ordered (recommend all): BISTEC ADOBADA- highly recommend (for those whom eat pork). POLLO- highly recommend CAMPECHANO VEGETARIANO- vegetarian & vegan option Helpful to know: Currency: Cash ONLY (Pesos appreciated). Affordable and well priced tacos. Hours: Open daily (except Tuesdays) for dinner from 5pm-11pm. Language: Basic Spanish is helpful to know, but it isn’t a must here, as the chef understands some English - ordering was straight forward, regardless of the fact that we speak proficient Spanish. Atmosphere: Child friendly. We came with our toddler and felt welcomed. The owner/chef Noel was very friendly and knowledgeable of his craft. Previously a hotel chef, now running his own business, and we are thankful for it , as the tacos were superb- well seasoned and not greasy! Luis, our server, was polite and attentive. While handling food, both the chef and server wore masks, which we appreciated and found to be a mindful practice, especially considering the events that took place worldwide in the last few years. Sustainability Tip: BYO reusable water bottle, or order the cocoa cola envase (glass bottle). The horchata comes in a plastic bottle, as is pretty common throughout Mexico, in exception to a some sit down restaurants or cafes.

We traveled from Washington State. We wanted a street taco. Google search has hundreds in Cancun but most have one or two reviews and 3.5 to 4.5 ratings. This place had like 115 and 4.9. It’s was a couple of miles from our apartment, but we wanted to find out what was happening in the middle of nowhere. The photos make it appear like a sit down outdoor restaurant. We found this little side street and a man (Noel) dressed in a white chef’s suit standing in the road in front of a little taco cart. He is in front of a store that has an overhang and a couple of plastic tables. Well, we went for it and wow, he treated us like five star customers, sent his young waiter to a convenience store for Pepsi and beer. We ordered chicken, steak, and pork. All were delicious. He makes his own marinade and spices and he gave me some especially hot sauce he makes. Then he gave us two vegetarian tacos that were fantastic! In total, we ate eleven tacos, drank two beers and one Pepsi and the cost was 250!!!! I gave 100 tip which in hind sight was too little. One taco at La Prilla is 150 to 200! We hope to go back.

The BEST tacos we had in Yucatán! We are from Europe and have looked for an authentic local food and found it here. It is truly a hidden gem that deserves to be found! Take your car, you can safely park here and enjoy this delicious food. I personally recommend taco campechano and try local refrescos. The owner used to be a chef in hotels his whole life and we are happy that he decided to make his own business so everybody can try his art. You will feel like in 5* restaurant, their service is very attentive. We had to come back a second night before returning back to Europe and will certainly return when in Cancun ❤️
