First time in Mazatlán and first time at this restaurant. Very pleasant staff. Very friendly and thoughtful. I ordered the pozole maciza and it was fabulous and more than enough. Love the hot peppers at each table as a garnish and extra topping. My wife had the burger and it was incredible and fresh with two kinds of cheese a slice of ham.... Lettuce....tomato.....red onion and a buttered toasted cheese buns. Fries were also good. They have a huge menu and we will definitely return to this winner. The young man was thoughtful enough to ask if I wanted to wait for my wife's burger to be properly prepared as the pozole is made in large quantities and would clearly be served first so that we could enjoy our meal at the same time. So many places seem to have lost concerned for this and we really appreciated that consideration. They held the door for us and thanked us for coming and wished us a good evening. The whole team seemed friendly and thoughtful. Well dressed and well groomed. A...
Read moreThe guacamole was the best I've had in Mazatlán. Excellent flavor and fresh. My wife's fajitas were pretty good. he steak was tender and they had good flavor and a large portion. We probably could have eaten the molcajete of guacamole and split the fajitas and had plenty. It seems the open face gorditas were very popular and also the pazole. We will have to come back and try that. I ordered a steak. It was a thin cut and not the best quality but it was flavorful and tender. For the price it was good. The baked potato, which did have skin on it ( was a disappointment because it was mildly warm in a few spots and cold in most. My wife's baked potato was the same. The beans had good flavor but were also cold. The restaurant was not all that busy on the weeknight, maybe half a dozen tables, but we still had trouble getting served when we needed something else. The wait staff was all the corner talking to themselves. The desserts in the case looked like huge slices of...
