Let me beginning by saying this is a beautiful place, and I was very excited to eat here as it was highly recommended. I’ve never let any bad reviews but I wouldn’t like anyone to experience the terrible service that they provide . We came for breakfast, when arrived the hostess said it was going to be about 5 min wait, we were waiting for about 20 min and other parties that arrived after us were let in before us. When asked why they were skipping us the hostess said that they had to let people in according to the number of the party rather than the order we arrived, (we were two, therefore we had to wait for a table of two to become available) we continued to see how parties that were only one person larger than us were let in before us.We asked again after another 20 min, the hostess let us sit inside because she said out table was getting ready. After another 15 min she came and said that they were at full capacity and we would have to wait longer but she couldn’t say how long. We complained and after 10 min we were finally taken to out table. Just about 5 min after we sat down they gave the table next to un (table for 4) to a couple that had just arrived, didn’t have them wait at all. The food was ok, but it was not worth the wait and the bad experience. We were running short on time since we had waited so long for our table so my sister asked for the bill while I finished my food. I was still eating when the waitress came and took my plate away with almost half of my food still in it, my mouth was filled with food so I couldn’t say anything and I was honestly shocked she just took my food as I was eating. When she came for the payment she asked for a tip, and got upset we didn’t tipped her so she slapped the book closed and walked away with terrible attitude. We still said thank you as we were leaving and she just stared at us and then turned around. Will never go back and wouldn’t...

Wife and I came here for late brunch during a recent vacation and we definitely enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Located within beautiful and charming Centro Mazatlan, we dined on the second floor terrace and enjoyed how peaceful the restaurant felt. The staff was warm and friendly and the addition of free WiFi was also a plus.

For food, I ordered the "Desayuno del Rancho" paired with a "Café de Olla," along with an "Oso" alcoholic drink. The "Oso" drink was first to arrive and it definitely was well received. It is a bourbon drink featuring hints of coffee, roasted peanut with honey, and finally topped off with two small cubed marshmallows. The pairing of flavors in this drink felt unique and imaginative, warranting another visit based on that alone. The Café was definitely playing second fiddle in this instance but was enjoyable nonetheless.

Moving onto the food, the breakfast plate was authentic, through and through, as it featured a highly delicious esquite and tamal de elote, not forgetting the staple that is frijoles con huevos y jamon. The additional salsas that were brought to the table, along with the food, packed a decent punch in terms of spiciness and definitely added to the flavor, in my opinion. Overall, the plate made me nostalgic, reminding me of meals from childhood, as it did not miss the mark.

The food, paired up with the drinks, was my ideal way to start a late day and will definitely receive my patronage the next time...

I liked the place a lot and the food was pretty tasty. They have a lot of options to eat and drink. Unfortunately, I am rating low at this time as they had plenty of flaws on their service that made my friends and myself felt uncomfortable. 1.-First, the space it so crowded, and tables are really close between them, not a lot of room even to go to the restroom 2.- On Saturday night, they have a live music band, however, they are not ready to feature a live music band. No space and the speakers of the band are literally, next to the people's hears sitting around the band ... too noisy for them( you wont be able to have a conversation with your friends and can get a headache easily) and the rest of the restaurant can barely hear them. Bad planning 3.- Waiters are not prepared to answer questions about the menu. We asked for an entrée of cheese andspanish ham ...but when our meal arrived, no ham was present, we asked about the ham and we were told the ham it was one of the cheese included ... :-| 4.- The service was slow, and you needed to hunt the waiters to get their attention

However, I am planning to come back to give them a second chance( and change my rating perhaps)... maybe, I was not lucky getting the proper service, but as I shared at the beginning, the place was nice and the...

No estoy exagerando.

The place has a great atmosphere and even though it does not have AC, it was cool when we went in February. We had brunch and I ordered a Matcha latte and poblana enchiladas filled with panela cheese. These were absolutely delicious! I wanted to go back the next day and order the exact same thing because they were so good. We also have some sweet bread and it was good too. My husband ordered the Shawarma and he said it was OK. We sat on the rooftop and the place was pretty packed when we went. We did have to wait about 30 minutes for our food to come, and I loved that there were plants all around and birds would fly in to eat the crumbs off the floor, so cute. I would recommend this place and come back. Oh! One thing I did not care for was the mint lemonade, it was horrible, tasted very artificial!
