Juana Cata Cafe — Restaurant in Chihuahua

This place did not leave me with a good first impression at all. First off today was my husband and I’d anniversary. But he doesn’t get off of work later at night. We wanted to go to a coffee shop that was cute and cozy. We had first thought of one place but when we went by, we wanted to pick a different place becauae it wasn’t very cozy. So my husband found Juana Cata and saw the photos and said we should go there instead. It was 9:45pm and on Google it said they close at 10:30. So we arrive by 9:50 and the employee first says- are you planning for take out or dine in? I hesitated because it was kind of rude. Then my husband said we wanted to dine in. The gentlemen then told us, we’ll we close in 9 minutes. (Which would have mentioned they close at 10pm). They a woman said but you can take it to go. I told my husband, “ didn’t it say they close at 10:30 online?” Then he asked what time they close at. The gentlemen said 10:20? Okay first off that’s not in 9 minutes. Second, we would have been polite and drank our coffee and been done by 10:30, but to give us a time that’s before closing? That is terrible terrible service. I will not be going back and or support their small business. They should have let us know they closed at 10:30 but not earlier then what the actual time they close is. Quienes disfrutan del producto de los cafetales, Juana Cata es un excelente establecimiento.

El lugar es acogedor sin embargo por lo que recomiendo este Café es gracias al excelente servicio y calidad que ofrece el Barista Daniel Calderón, cordial, profesional y con expertise en el manejo del café: Espresso, Lattes, bebidas frias y calientes e incluso los métodos alternativos para hacer café.

Hoy me tomé un Iced V60 en las rocas acompañado con unos sandwiches con huevos estrellados, delicioso.

Primera vez que visito el lugar, me sorprendio los metodos para elaborar cafe, ya que te dan una demostracion y explicacion del proceso del metodo que elegiste, muy servicial el personal, el cafe muy rico, el ambiente excelente. El dueño se nos acerco a contarnos la historia de Juana Cata y los cuadros que estan en exposicion, una experiencia muy bonita, definitivamente merece...
