La Majada — Restaurant in Coahuila

I thought this place was pretty impressive. They had a great menu and a wonderful buffet. I really enjoyed the toasted flour tortillas. I've never had anything like them and I enjoyed them very much. The green salsa they brought out was delicious (and I'm not a salsa fan) and I couldn't stop eating it. The queso fundido was amazing only because it came with chorizo. I had a small cup of frijoles charros and thoroughly enjoyed it and felt very satisfied. My husband and kids had steaks. They were very impressed with the cuts and the preparation of their meats. The claricot that I drank was a good way to end the evening. The service and live music were exceptional. I would definitely return to this spot to try more things...

Not a good experience. First they brought out different beers than we ordered. Then they told us that they were out of Cabrito (which is the the one thing they are supposed to be famous for), and told us it would be a three hour wait for more. Eventually they managed to find enough for one order, and it was decent. The filet was very dry and tough. One of the T-bones we ordered was overcooked and sent back, but even the one that was cooked properly was mostly you and dry also. Way overpriced, would...
