Satas Mediterranean Mezze- Grill — Restaurant in Coahuila

Nice atmosphere, inept service, substandard food.

Satas Mediterranean Grill is ostensibly a higher-end eatery specializing in Arabic food. Attached to a Four Points Sheraton, you would expect this to basically guarantee a half decent meal at the very least.

In this case, however, that is simply not the case.

I've eaten here twice now, on separate stays, and I will not be doing so a third time, no matter how tired or roadworn I am.

Service is basically a clownshow, with waiters having to confirm and reconfirm orders, only to return and then tell you they're out of the menu-dish you requested.

The shawarmas are a mess of salad and huge pita breads, with not much actual protein in sight. "Grilled" chicken breasts are actually microwaved chicken breasts, and the "Mediterranean Sampler" looks more like an arson-scene, because it's been on keep-warm for way too long.

About the only saving grace here is the bar menu.

El lugar esta bien pero, es una pena que no sea mas lo que solía ser en su ubicación anterior, he ido varias veces desde que cambio el concepto, la comida es buena pero es una lastima que las dos ultimas veces que he ido el brisket ha estado frío al igual que el servicio. Las bebidas son malas y creo que necesitan que la gente que esta ahi atienda ya que he llegado y solo hay una persona para tomar la orden y preparar vividas, de hecho al entrar no hay nadie el lugar esta solo, ni un sólo mesero que te acomode. Hola, hay que decir que es un restaurante dentro del Hotel. Así que los precios son un poco más elevados. No mucho. Tienen unos sabores muy interesantes. Sabores conocidos y sabores nuevos.
