Stay Away! Scam Alert! Should be 0 stars. I would love to say the problems we encountered there were due to it being opened only 3 weeks. However I can say it goes far beyond. There was 4 times more staff than diners and service still was non existent. You have to re-order multiple times just to receive what you want. Entradas and main courses come at the same time. They were unimpressive despite the high price tag. And prices? Check you bills. More than half the items we ordered came higher on the bill than listed on the menu. It took them 1 hr to sort out the bill and correct it. We had to explain 4 times the prices were wrong and they wanted to borrow our phones to check their menus. We watched them stand and chat instead of helping us and tried to make us write out the corrections. Unbelievable. No one there knows their own menu or prices. Not one apology either. The manager doesn’t know what he’s doing. It is his first job ever I think and has no clue. Instead of helping he decided to sit down and eat his own meal. No supervision exists. I’m taking bets that this restaurant will close before April, it needs people with experience to operate and have a chance of succeeding. We wanted to check this place out because of their ads on social media. It is ridiculously busy so that one needs to make reservations on their website. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful! The decor is very rustic. We had an outdoor table and again I can't say enough about the visual perfection of this place. My husbad had the creme brulee and I had the spinach omlete. Unfortunately it was a major miss on both plates for us. My omlete was extremely greasy and my coffee cold. The creme brulee was soggy and tasted very eggy. Los Arbolitos es un restaurante de comida típica mexicana ubicado en Juriquilla, a un costado de la autopista rumbo a San Luis Potosí en dirección a Querétaro. A primera vista pasa desapercibido por su localización, pero al entrar sorprende con una decoración minimalista y muy cuidada: predominan la madera rústica, lámparas de mimbre y ornamentos con plantas, lo que genera un ambiente moderno, acogedor y agradable.

La comida es, sin duda, el punto fuerte. Cada platillo refleja la mano de un buen chef: sabores auténticos, muy bien logrados y con presentaciones cuidadas. Eso sí, no es un lugar económico; los precios van de la mano con la calidad. Entre lo que probé, el pan francés es correcto, aunque no sobresaliente; la crème brûlée y frutos rojos exaltan el sabor al bizcocho, aunque este pan francés contrasta con los platillos típicos mexicanos, que son realmente espectaculares.

El café oaxaqueño que ofrecen no fue de mi agrado: demasiado tostado y ácido, un sabor fuerte que opaca la experiencia. Creo que un café chiapaneco, más suave y balanceado, encajaría mejor con la propuesta del lugar.

En cuanto al servicio, encontré un área de oportunidad importante. A pesar de que llegamos temprano y el lugar no estaba lleno, los meseros se mostraron algo desatentos y confusos. Además, la manera de servir la comida podría mejorar: trajeron todos los tiempos de golpe, lo que obligó a dejar la fruta a un lado para pasar al plato fuerte.

Un punto a considerar es que el restaurante es muy popular, así que conviene llevar reservación para evitar largas esperas, especialmente en horarios pico.
