El Pasaje — Restaurant in Durango

This place was just trash. Waited 1 hour 30 minutes in line... for a small ham avocado torta . Waitress kept talking to other guest at the same time I was trying to place an order. She didn't even write down the orders so I never received some of the items I ordered like burritos dounuts and qusadillas. Also ordered a hot dog thinking it'll be fully prepared like other places but no instead I just got a semi warm weiner in a soggy bread with ketchup and mustard . Some guy walked in while we were waiting in line and kept asking for money while talking to himself and slapping himself pretty hard on his face. It was all bruised. Over all it was a long hot bad experience. Oh let's not forget the waiting line is right next to see through windows so EVERYONE just stares and watches you eat. Makes you feel super rushed. I don't recommend this place at all. If you are a first time visitor from usa . DO NOT expect the tortas to be prepared like they do in usa. The wait is long and they allow people to cut in line. People cut the line by walking towards the back of the small seating area and going into the bathroom and when they come out instead of getting in line they ask people eating alone if they can sit with them thus avoiding the long line. Excelente lugar para un desayuno o comida. Delicioso, buenos y justos precios, es un lugar obligado a visitar en Durango. Obligado también comer una torta especial o sencilla de pierna y un rompope, me encantan! Hay jugos, malteadas, tortas, burritos, nachos y demás. Lo recomiendo ampliamente. El servicio por parte del personal que te atiende es muy bueno. Este lugar debe ser un forzoso 5 estrellas, sin embargo, el tiempo de espera suele ser muy largo por la demanda tan alta que tienen y que aveces ocupan una de las mesas para hacer cuentas, a la vista de los clientes, lo cual les resta puntos.
