La Cocina de Ana — Restaurant in Ensenada

English review: This restaurant is homey and little. The prices are really fair, I was really surprised at how affordable the food on the menu was.

When we sat down they served us salsa and chips. The salsa was delicious and we asked for more. The beef broth soup was delicious 😋 they had plenty of veggies in it.

I didn't like the Chile rellenos, the cheese they use, I don't prefer its sour taste. The huevos rancheros were tasty. Most plates were served with beans and rice. I paid 10 pesos extra for flour tortillas.

The pork chops was not something my husband and I enjoyed but my kids loved it. The pineapple 🍍 that they served on top of it was soooo delicious they cooked it and I usually don't like heated pineapple.

My kids got pancakes and they enjoyed them, they were super thin though. We tried the aguas fresca, they had cucumber with lime and lemonade with chia seeds. The cucumber drink was tasty but it has too much pulp in my opinion. The lemonade was fine but a bit tart. I think more ice would've helped.

The restaurant is super clean and so is the kitchen. They offer delivery services through the app DiDi. There was only street parking which was an inconvenience because it is close to a hospital but I eventually found a spot. Overall I will come back I want to try some other dishes here.

Cuando nos sentamos nos sirvieron salsa y totopos. La salsa estaba deliciosa y pedimos más. La sopa de caldo de res estaba deliciosa! Tenían muchas verduras. No me gustaron los chiles rellenos el queso que usan no prefiero su sabor amargo. Los huevos rancheros estaban deliciosos.La mayoría de los platos se servían con frijoles y arroz. Pagué 10 pesos extra por tortillas de harina.

Las chuletas de cerdo no fueron algo que mi esposo y yo disfrutáramos, pero a mis hijos les encantó. La piña 🍍 que sirvieron encima estaba tan deliciosa que la cocinaron y normalmente no me gusta la piña calentada.

Mis hijos comieron panqueques y los disfrutaron, aunque eran súper delgados. Probamos las aguas frescas, tenían pepino con limón y limonada con chía. La bebida de pepino estaba deliciosa pero en mi opinión tiene demasiada pulpa. La limonada estaba bien pero un poco ácida. Creo que habría más hielo ayudará con el sabor.

El restaurante está súper limpio y la cocina también. Ofrecen servicios de entrega a través de la app DiDi. Solo había estacionamiento en la calle, lo cual fue un inconveniente porque está cerca de un hospital, pero finalmente encontré un lugar. En general volveré. Quiero probar otros...
