Rinconcito Oaxaqueño — Restaurant in Ensenada

Perfect!!! We've been here only once but drove past it several times as it is located near our friend's house. It's a very authentic Oaxacan style restaurant and they serve some of the most delicious breakfast plates here! Our meals were so big, I literally couldn't finish it! They hand make their fresh tortillas and the chips and salsa is perfect!

The staff doesn't speak english but you can pretty much get by. They have a conejo plate which we wanted to try but we're saving that for our next trip here!

Price is just perfect, big food portions, be ready to take...

El dia que visitamos Este lugar no estaban los dueños haci que quisas mi respuesta hubiera sido different. El servicio demaciado despacio, pedimos la comida y despues de mas de 20 minutos trajeron solo DOS Plato's pedimos tortillas y Limon y nunca lo trajeron pasados 10 minutes alguien de la Mesa se paro por tortillas y en eso trajeron otro Plato y volvimos a pedir Limon. Cuando trajeron Limon ya la comida estaba Fria, solo trajeron 3 tortillas y despues trajeron otros 2 Plato's y pedimos tortillas regresaron con 3 tortillas a los pocos minutes, nos trajeron 2 mas Plato's y como a los 5 minutos los ultimos 2 Plato's para el resto de las personas en nuestra Mesa y ya los primeros habian terminado de comer hacia rato. Pedimos totopos pero nunca nos trajeron solo una vez al principio no se si solo lo agan una vez. Las tortillas son recien hechas entonces tardan para prepararlas para Toda la gente pero deberian quisas tener mas gente preparandolas. La comida estaba bien, volveriamos a comer ahi cuando Este la dueña porque Parece ser que cuando los dueños no estan se trabaja mas lento. La comida tenia buen sabor. A un año volvi a este lugar y sigo con en que El servicio estaba bien despacio y la comida nada que ver. No...

The service was great. The food was good. The gordita was a bit too crispy than what I am use to but it was good.

The tamale was my favorite. The mole was tasty. Yum!

My partner ordered shrimp wrapped in bacon with melted cheese. It was yummy (I also tried it).

The red salsa has a good flavor but was a bit watery.

I'd return to try the other dishes in the menu.
