Best date spot in the city of Leon.

Quiet atmosphere with calm Jazz music and beautiful interior design. The patio area is walled with Glass facing the restaurant wich gives you an awesome atmosphere. My date and I happened to be there with the restaurant to oirselves for most of our time here, which felt very special.

The service is world class. All the staff show incredible class and professionalism. It is rare to have the propper fine dining level of service that is exemplified here. Bravo!

The food was superb. We started with Pulpo (octopus) appetizer. Diced tender octopus in a sea salty broth of green herbs and butter served with crostinis. This was likely the most delicious octopus dish I have ever had.

The wine selection is very good. I chose a french white, and a mexican red for our dinner. Both were excelent, and i wish i could remember the names of the vintner.

For our mains she had the pescado (white fish) in a olive and caper beurre noisette with a beautifuly light mashed potato. I chose the beef fellet "a Rez" which came with a mild tapenade and balsamic reduction. The fillet was a generous 7oz center cut. Seared nearly crisp on the outside and perfectly medium rare inside. My husband and I decided to try Du Ble based on the exuberant recommendations of other expats in León. We were not disappointed! The portobello mushrooms "montpellier" were wonderful, the cream of crab soup was rich and pleasantly seasoned, the salmon entree was one of my favorites of all time, and the coconut pastry for dessert was heavenly. I enjoyed a nice glass of a Spanish white wine with dinner. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others who wish to try something a little less Mexican and a little more continental in León. We would go there again. Side note: the restaurant is wonderfully quiet before 7 pm. We eat dinner earlier than most people here and it makes it easy to get reservations. Vine a conocer el lugar. Pedí una Cazuela de Pulpo y a las pocas horas terminé en el médico con suero por la intoxicación que me metieron. Sé que posiblemente me "tocó la de malas" pero otro poco y no la cuento. Deben tener sumo cuidado con la frescura de los alimentos, ESPECIALMENTE SI SON MARISCOS!!!!!

Respuesta a su respuesta: Lamentable que un restaurante de este nivel eésta sea su respuesta. Lejos de dar una disculpa, un asomo de indignación o una cuota mínima de vergüenza o intensiones de resarcir un daño su respuesta sean justificaciones y pretender dar lecciónes completamente estériles y absurdas (cocine un marisco y cómelo en 1 semana y nos dices qué pasa). Por supuesto que si hubiera detectado algo malo en el momento no me lo como, no pretenda atentar contra mi inteligencia. En lugar de esto, debería de agradecerme que aún no he ido a poner una denuncia a COFEPRIS y a PROFECO. Aquí tengo el ticket de consumo, voucher de pago a mi nombre, parte médico de un experto en intoxicaciones alimentarias y factura de gastos médicos incluyendo antibiótico y demás medicamentos que tuve que tragarme. Con esta respuesta lo único que logra es incitarme a hacerlo. Vergüenza debería de darle y peor aún que me diga que debí verlo en corto directo con ustedes para no hacer esto publico y que la gente lo sepa. Que poca calidad moral tiene ud. 2 DÍAS...
