El Fruty Restaurante — Restaurant in Guanajuato

Our recent family visit to El Fruty Restaurante was anything but satisfactory. We encountered an array of issues, from subpar service and poor management, to a surprising bee invasion, all topped off by an impertinent bartender with an unhealthy affinity for sarcasm.

From the moment we entered, the service was a mess. We waited an inordinate amount of time to be seated and once we were, our server seemed more confused than helpful. The time taken to place and receive our order was also exorbitantly long.

The food, when it did arrive, was simply average, but its quality was overshadowed by the horrendous service. Our server was largely absent and any requests for extras or drink refills were met with long waits and visible annoyance.

However, the real surprise came when a swarm of bees invaded the outdoor dining area, creating a chaotic scene. The experience was more about managing the bee invasion and less about enjoying our meals.

When we managed to bring this to the manager's attention, we received a lackluster apology and little in the way of a remedy to the situation. The management was slow to respond and lacked any sense of urgency, making an already uncomfortable situation even worse.

In the midst of this chaos, we turned to the bar hoping to at least enjoy a drink while the bee situation was handled. Unfortunately, our interaction with the bartender added insult to injury. Rather than offering a sympathetic ear or understanding, he responded with a barrage of sarcastic remarks that were anything but humorous in the given circumstances.

In conclusion, our experience at El Fruty Restaurante was far from enjoyable due to its poor service, lax management, a bizarre bee invasion, and an incredibly inappropriate bartender. The restaurant clearly needs a significant overhaul in its customer service and emergency response training. Until such improvements are made, I find it hard to recommend El Fruty Restaurante for anyone seeking a pleasant...

Normally I have deli sandwiches, salads and fruit water. But yesterday I only had coffee. Which, the coffee was great. I like the atmosphere. An orange tree directly next to my table was laden with oranges, reminding me of the orange trees at family house and on the city streets in Sicilia, Italia.

The bathroom was very clean. There is a most beautiful brass sink to wash hands, outside of the bathroom! Quite impressive, it inspired me to make one of my own brass sinks in my shop and use it in my house.

El Fruty is the perfect place to have business meetings or to meet friends. It's also suitable for family dinners.

This restaurant definitely lives up to the reviews we read about it, the staff is super friendly, the managers are on top of things and are on the floor guiding and coordinating the service and bussers, and the food was delicious. I wish more restaurants ran as well as this one. They had a ton of choices and everything we had there was delicious. Initially we wanted to just try it, but we ended up going here every day during our stay because of the staff. I would like to send a shout out to Dalila, as overall she was a superb server and was super friendly, efficient and was the best server in the place.
