Hōfu Sushi — Restaurant in Guanajuato

Unfortunately I didn’t get to try the food because the wait was for over an hour, unacceptable. Our appetizers weren’t even given. once the hour was met we proceeded to ask the only waitress in the entire restaurant how much longer and she said 20 min. Also instead of being compassionate the entire staff had an excuse on why such bad service. One of the excuses the waitress said was because they had a table of 9 and in all respect this is not an excuse on why the restaurant should not be ran professionally perhaps hiring more staff or communicate in advance the wait is for ect. of time. Pretty restaurant, very polite waiter, sweet people work there. Good portions for a very affordable prices. The gyoza was really crispy, & not too oily. The spring rolls were also well fried, a little bland, but better with the sauce. The salmon nigiri was well priced for 2 & my older son loved them. The salmon & size were generous. The Cangreron rolls were good. The sushi rice for both dishes was a tad mushy (grains were not separate enough & rice had been cooked with too much water), but the flavor was good.
