I had gone alone one day and had the place pretty much to myself. Great vantage point to watch the ocean and beach activity. Washrooms are fairly clean, yet dated. Food was also decent and all day 2-for-1 drinks enticed me to bring my partner back the very next day. BIG Mistake. An unkempt man approached the table (we thought we were about to be pressed for money) but it was the owner saying hello. Good, nice touch. We ordered our various drinks and food, the server was a very nice gentleman, then the bill came. For reasons even he couldn't explain, the server was told by the owner to round UP our bill from 520 pesos to 700. We asked what that was about and clearly he was embarrassed and repeated that's what the owner made him do. No amount of questioning could garner a satisfactory explanation. Not only was I embarrassed for bringing along a dining partner on my recommendation, but it's appalling that this was done at all. With so many establishments wanting our $$, we can go elsewhere. Con una de las mejores vistas a nivel de playa entre dos de las formaciones rocosas mas grandes de la bahía (una de ellas El Morro) es también el lugar ideal para capturar recuerdos de vacaciones, celebraciones, etc. La comida, sin ser excepcional, es muuy buena con buenas porciones, precios justos y servicio excepcional. Once you enter from Acapulco's main street "La Costera", the charm of this typical Acapulco Hut opened to bay, offering the best view from the beach level, you will want to stay and relax while enjoying a typical Mexican cuisine meal.
