We had such a fantastic experience at El Hijo de la Tiznada! The restaurant offers a wonderful selection of food, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The service stood out—warm, attentive, and full of great recommendations.

By suggestion from the staff, we ordered the ribeye and the Argentinian skirt steak, and both dishes were cooked to perfection. The flavors were rich, balanced, and truly memorable—easily some of the best steaks we’ve had in Mexico.

Had a very pleasant meal for a couple of devoted carnivores and a couple of not big meat eaters. We didn't get to try the arrachera as the meat order missed its flight in to zihua. We did try the ribeye, Argentinian flank and pork belly. All were very good. The Argentinian beef is a must try!! Everything perfectly seasoned. The roasted veggies and whipped potatoes were delicious. The Caesar salad was whole leaves of romaine and generously sized.

If you want beef. This is the place to go. Hands down best in zihuatanejo. For a truly special steak, order the Argentinian Flank. If you have enough people, the tiznada platter is a great selection of meats. Nice selection of chorizos available.

Service was great and we always enjoy the vintage music videos playing on the big screen.
