We went with another couple. Hubby and I decided on the drink, soup or salad, main course - which is what you pay for. Drink and soup or salad isn't in the price. Hubby ordered the Seared Tuna which he ordered the Astec soup and water. I ordered the KFC with the salad. My strawberry daiquiris was 2 for 1 so my hubby got my extra strawberry daiquiris. Instead of the 2 for 1, we received the drink as part of our meal. We paid for the 2 waters. Overall, we were ok with our meals. The low rating is because of our friends not being addressed by the staff for the under cooked blood dripping chicken piece, which took 5 people in the back critiquing the uneaten piece of chicken. Not one came back to the table to address the under cooked chicken. Plus her hubby got charged for the strawberry Pina colada which they asked if she bought one, her hubby would take the other one as it was 2 for 1 and were told OK. Instead, he was charged for his and she should have received a 2nd one for her 2 for 1 deal. Better communication when ordering needs to happen. We went to this restaurant from a friend's recommendations. We weren't disappointed. I had the surf and turf ( Lobster, steak and chicken) It was accompanied with a baked potato and sautéed vegetables. All the food was prepared well and came quite quickly to the table. Mif wife had a chicken pasta dish. The food was not 5 star but it was a solid 4,5. It was very tasty and there is lots of food. Great mango margaritas . The servers were efficient and polite. Excellent place for dinner as I love the Aijillo Shrimp dinner. It was tasty, with rice cooked well and can actually taste real shrimp. I had breakfast here but it's mostly just regular breakfast and wasn't able to get shrimp but I'll be back for dinner. Pina Colada which I had with dinner was great in a pretty glass.
