Known for her pork which is cooked in the earth for a magnificent flavor, we were thrilled to have a late lunch after a day of cenotes and fun. We also tried the amazing sopa de lima which was so good I almost cried! I wanted to order more but sadly was too full. Handmade tortillas came in a basket warmer and were delicious. We got to talk to the chef herself and she shared the ingredients in the sopa de lima. A special lime only found in the Yucatán is delicious with a slightly floral aroma. The Cocinita Pibil had a rich and delicious flavor. We loved this place and felt it was the best food of our two weeks in Mexico. I only wish we had this restaurant...
