Disappointed…. We reserved for the bbq ribs night for 16 people. Went to the restaurant on two separate days to confirm where we wanted to sit, time and number of people. When we got there our table was not ready. The waitress didn’t know we were coming and had nothing prepared. We were given plastic lawn chairs to sit on. Our table was not where we had requested. Service was poor and we waited for over an hour for our meal. There was 5 children under 13 years old and that was a concern having supper so late. When our meals finally arrived it was great food. But one dish was not available and was not told to us. Instead another dish was substituted which was a disappointment. We have been to Bahia Azul before and had a great experience. I watched the owner hit a dog and the staff hurt and tie another to the firewood out front. They only care about Toby the owner's dog who gets Away with murder. Also the owner just sits there at night on his phone like he's a big shot, won't even acknowledge his patrons, he does acknowledge the stray dogs just before the staff lure the stray over to him so he can hit/abuse them. DO NOT EAT HERE UNLESS YOU AGREE WITH DOG ABUSE. i was in here the other night and the owner hit Camilia one of the stray dogs so hard it sent her running (just because she was saying hi to tables). Toby the owners dog, barks all day, chase ppl etc and they do nothing. Then today l, another dog comes along to play in the sand I watched a staff member choke the dog and tie him up outside.
