KOREAN BBQ PATRIA — Restaurant in Jalisco

I went to Korean BBQ on 1/26/2022 at around 9pm (I realize it’s an hour before closing) and had one of the worse experiences in Guadalajara. First, the the whole salad bar is cold even though they have hot items such as Chile con carne, white rice, fried rice, steamed veggies, etc. For instance, my brother served himself some of the refried beans on his plate and the waitress told him “it’s how people eat them here.” I am an American born Mexican and I know better than to say such a comment to anyone. However, one of the waitresses kindly took the beans from his plate and microwaved them for him. Hence, the reason I leave them with one star. If I could put 1/2 a star I would.

I think the worse part of it all is that the owner was sitting in the corner smiling and talking to his buddy, while all these complaints were being directed to his staff. It’s evident the staff doesn’t have much control, but to make excuses or point fingers at others because they do not have any control or care to fix the problems.

This was my first time dining here and proudly it will be my last. I highly do not recommend coming here if you’ve ever had a good Korean BBQ and trust another restaurant...

I think all the food is amazing I have often gone here with my friends for eating some foods and drinking soju and beers I think that this restaurant is very good. Because this restaurant has a lot of menus so I can eat a variety of foods in this restaurant. I like to eat Korean foods so I used to find a great restaurant. However, I can’t find that. When I went to other restaurants. I can’t feel like this restaurant. so If I want to eat Korean food, I’m going to go there. I like KalBi(BBQ: it’s Korean food’s name) It’s one of my favorite food in this restaurant… so I’d rather go to this restaurant than other restaurants. Of course, I can eat other foods. I want to eat again this food… Moreover, This restaurant’s service is very good. waiters are very kind and friendly in this restaurant. and we can celebrate a birthday in this place. so Almost Korean people have gone there for a friend’s birthday. it’s good place in GDL. so you have to try to go there! Very authentic AYCE Korean BBQ with different price point for you to choose from, they also have a little patio for outdoor seating. They have valet parking here. The owners are Korean definitely. After you choose your meat price point, you can go to the buffet bar to get your sauce, vegetables, and other food stuff. When you finish eating your first plate of meat, you can order the second round of meat. The service was very nice as I had trouble going up and down the stairs from the outside patio to the buffet bar thats inside the restaurant the own helped me to get the food I want and brought it to my table, I had to use my little Korean and Spanish to communicate with him.
