My boyfriend and I LOVED our meals at La Perla! It was our first order while we’re visiting Zopopan. We ordered the cooked shrimp ceviche as a starter; it was huge! Definitely could feed 2-4 people prior to a meal or be a complete meal for someone hungry. For our main courses, I ordered the Surf and Turf tacos, while my bf ordered the Pulpo Zarandeado (Octopus). In my order, I received two tacos that were amazing! Flavourful skirt steak and shrimp with cooked onions and tomatoes. It was so good! They served it hot as well which made everything even better. Right from the kitchen to our table. My bf’s meal was excellent from start to finish. He received almost a whole octopus it seemed lol! So tender and flavourful from the first to the last bite. We’re planning to visit one more time before we leave the city!

I should also mention that they host parties on Friday to Sunday! We went for lunch but if you can go for dinner those days please do! The music was a vibe during lunch (90s-00s r&b remixes) so I’d assume they have a nice vibe...

The remodeling of this location really transformed the restaurant into an astonishing culinary experience. I last visited in 2017, and walking in now in January 2025 was mesmerizing. The ambience is just beautiful. It reminded me of the denotes of Yucatan and Quintana Roo. I felt transported to a naturally beautiful place. The ambience is just the full package to what the culinary journey you can have here is. When coming here I recommend indulging in as much of the food as you can have and afford of course. I just say this because I cannot imagine having just 1 thing to eat. I enjoy trying multiple things at my visits to this restaurant. The Mango Pineapple Shrimp Ceviche was my favorite on this last visit, and the Marlin Tartar was a nice surprise. Visité La Perla del Pacífico en Guadalajara y pedí el pulpo zarandeado, una de las especialidades. Solo puedo decir: rico, exageradamente rico. El sabor es profundo, bien ahumado, jugoso, y con ese toque de la zaranda que lo eleva a otro nivel.

Desde que entras, sabes que estás por vivir una gran experiencia culinaria. Como bienvenida, te ofrecen un paté de marlín de cortesía que es simplemente delicioso. Es un pequeño detalle que marca la diferencia y te prepara para lo que sigue.

El servicio fue impecable: atento, profesional y siempre al pendiente sin ser invasivos. Además, el lugar es muy agradable, con una atmósfera que equilibra elegancia y calidez. En las mega pantallas se proyectan paisajes marinos espectaculares, que suman al ambiente sin robar protagonismo a la comida ni a la conversación.

La música está en el volumen justo: lo suficientemente suave para permitir una buena charla, pero presente como para crear un entorno acogedor y animado.

Es un lugar ideal para una comida o cena de negocios, o para venir con tu pareja a dejarse consentir.
