La terraza del mar — Restaurant in Jalisco

We came here after a very long, hot day of touring of Puerto Vallarta and it was worth the wait! The staff is warm and friendly, each time coming to the table at the perfect moment. My husband and I shared Platter #4, which is shrimp just about every way you can make them. It was delicious! Even so, there was no way we could have finished our split meal. The expansive view and cool, ocean breeze made the experience even more enjoyable. This is the Mexico I love and keep coming back to make memories just like this one.

On a side note, these are difficult times for our hotels, restaurants and bars especially in tourist cities like PV. If you are fortunate enough to travel, please please please tip well and often. Food was good, view was amazing. Other than that we felt like a number, service was quick to take our orders and beyond that the only time we were spoke to was at the end when they handed us the check. Was not asked how the food was if we needed another drink etc. We were part of a group bused there as well as many others. Other buses came behind us which made us feel like this is a daily occurrence meaning they knew they got their money and now it was on to the next. Stopped with a tour, I thought the spreads were great and affordable for a touristy spot. Four of us split one of the big plates and had some beers. It was nice. Good view also! I suggest getting together with at least four people even if they are strangers to share the platter here. A weird thing in the bill he said there is 15% tax which every where else is included in prices in all of Mexico and it was not even written on the bill, even if it was its not how they do things here but okay we still enjoyed ourselves.
