Mom's Deli and Restaurant — Restaurant in Jalisco

Have been checking their website all morning (It's currently 10:30 AM) waiting for them to post the link for ordering their Thursday special (fried chicken) online. Finally gave up and Googled Mom's. On the right side of the Google results page there was a blue button "Order Online" so I clicked it. It took me to the online ordering screen and I tried to order the chicken (dark meat). When I got to the end, it said it was waiting response from Mom's . Waited 5 minutes and got a message that they couldn't process my order. It recommended that I call to place my order. So I called and told the Mom's person my problem and she said that they don't use the online ordering app any more! They didn't post anything on their website about this change! So, I tried to order and was told they only had white meat available. If I had known earlier in the morning about their change I could have ordered the dark meat chicken before they ran out. This isn't the first time I've had problems ordering from Mom's. No apologies, acknowledgment or anything. I guess they have so much business they can afford to be arrogant and not worry about...

This is a bad review of this restaurant, I am doing this based on my own experience. I ate at this restaurant on a Sunday, the restaurant was full when I arrived and I was next in line to get a table. I waited about 25 min and was seated. I received my drink order right away, coffee was just ok compared to other breakfast restaurants in the area. I placed my food order at the time I received my drink order. I waited 1 hour and 15 min for 3 eggs, bacon, and biscuit with sausage gravy. Note: After I got on the waiting list, some other people came in and were added. In that group of people, an older couple were 2nd in line. They waited about 1 hour and 15 min when a table became available and they were next to be seated, the staff seated another couple. When the older couple complained, they were denied seating and left the restaurant. This restaurant has a lot of good reviews and they may related to the food only. We went to Mom's for brunch the other day. Our wait was about 6 minutes. Our server was very friendly and super attentive. Drinks came very fast and even another young gentleman checked on us. I splurged and got Eggs Benedict and a side of their AMAZING Biscuits and Sausage gravy. Both dishes were very good. Sausage gravy was rich, filled with sausage and delicious. Before leaving we got Mom her favorite soup as the have alot of very high quality to go items which include a Curried Pumpkin soup which is my Mom's favorite.
