Just visited for the first time in quite a while. I ordered a pastrami sandwich which came with some potato salad. The meat which was not a generous portion looked nothing like pastrami. We told the person who came out to discuss the sandwich that this meat looked like ham. She assured us it was pastrami and having had cold cuts all over North America it was definitely not going to pass for pastrami. She said you cannot get the pastrami that you get up north here in Mexico. Maybe that might be true if buying in a large quantity but my girlfriend bought some packaged stuff at Super Lake that was the real deal. We asked if her corned beef looks like their pastrami since they are made by the same person locally. She said it is close to the same color. Well neither pastrami or corn beef has the color of ham. Panino advertises itself as a deli restaurant so offering what looked and tasted like ham won't encourage me to return to their resto even with their nice surroundings. If you are a deli lover this is not the place for you. Color me...

If you are craving American fare then this is the place for you! Situated off of the busy Carretera Chapala-Jocotopec in San Antonio Tlayacapan, this is a "comfort food" restaurant with mostly older expats. Upon arrival, my partner’s family and I walked in and sat at the garden under an umbrella. One menu has the regular sandwiches and another features rotating daily specials where one might find at any diner in the States. The servers all are multi-lingual and know the menus down to every ingredient. We settled for vegetarian sandwich with grilled mushrooms, zucchini, bell peppers, garlic, onion & Swiss cheese, Italian sandwich (Grilled Chicken breast with homemade pesto & provolone) and Meatloaf with mashed potatoes, gravy & green salad. The food was delicious and tasty, the service excellent, and all at a great price. The owner, Lupita has been in business for 23 years made her rounds to speak to every table and very attentive to all the customer's needs. We can...

Upon arrival, walked in and the restroom was clean, sat in the garden, it to was very clean and well groomed. We ordered the Oriental Chicken Salad, very good!! Along with Ice Tea.. The meal was good along with the excellent service. I normally do not order desert, but I heard they have very good coconut cream pie and it was!!! The manager came by the table to ask if we were pleased I told her yes and that the pie was delicious, and asked if they made a Southern Pecan Pie, and she said yes we do. We continued to eat, just finishing she came back to the table with a small piece of Pecan Pie. She said here is a compliment piece, hope you enjoy it. Leaving I went inside to thank her and let her know that piece of pie was equally as good, and I would be...

Nice atmosphere, some indoor and some outdoor seating with live music when we went for lunch. Margaritas were good and they have a small craft beer selection. Vegetable panini was excellent, loved everything about it. I only wish they had had some spicy cheese to put in it (i don't care for swiss). Strawberry pie was very good too. We'll definitely be coming back for lunch again!

Nice lunch in a quaint place. The staff was great, the food was good. Coconut cream pie is really good. Bonus, they do frozen single serve food, purchased a lasagna, and a quiche to try.. We bought their peanut brittle as well.
