SODAM grill Juriquilla — Restaurant in Juriquilla

We went to the restaurant for having a Korean barbecue. At the beginning we were placed in a separate room, while all the other people were sitting in another part of the restaurant. After asking to switch to the better looking seats, we were told it is full.

After ordering entries, which were really good, we needed to ask 3 times to the waitress for ordering the main course.

Now it happened - a blackout.

Instead of getting a nice atmosphere with candles, there were placed heavy lights. I use them in my construction at home for renovations. We wanted to cancel our order as the electric barbecue did not work, suddenly they had space in the other part of the restaurant. There the grills don't work with electric, they work with gas.

After the waitress put half of the meat on the fire, he left without comments. In my back was still the tablet, where he served us the food. And it was still there when I left.

Finally it took him 3 times to get us the right bill.

I mean a power outage can happen, but there a lot better options...

Our experience today at this restaurant was totally disappointing. All the hype from YouTube and the reviews are completely deceiving. Please don't drive out of your way for this restaurant. We took our friends here for lunch. The BBQ beef was so chewy that we couldn't eat it. The flavor of the dishes were mediocre. Nothing seemed fresh. The service was non existent. The only thing that was outstanding was the price. What a RIP OFF! If you want to treat your friends, please take them else where. We have many Korean friends back home in Vancouver Canada and we frequent our local Korean restaurants there. We know what good Korean food tastes like. This restaurant just doesn't measure up.

It made me even more upset when Mr. Shin doesn't even dare to put hid menu on the website to let people see their menu and their prices. When I clicked the manu it only shows the beautiful pictures of advertisements. Please show me your manu. I know exactly what I ordered. I want to warn people. THIS PLACE...

Si bien considero que es uno de mis lugares favoritos en Querétaro creo que es preciso mencionar mi experiencia no buscando perjudicar al restaurante pero si buscando que no vuelva a ocurrir con futuros comensales. En la sopa que ordené Denjangjjigue que por cierto es mi favorita tuve la mala fortuna de que me apareció un gancho metálico de color negro cuyo tamaño no era mayor a la de un cierre de chamarra, si bien fue algo desagradable lo que si me hizo enfadar esq dijeran que no tenían ese tipo de ganchos en la cocina como dando a entender que no fueron ellos. Yo procedí a decirles que afortunadamente estaba sentado enfrente de las cámaras por lo que si querían podían buscar el video y ver justo el momento donde me saco el gancho de la boca, admito que finalmente manejaron el problema con amabilidad y me regalaron un platillo a escoger el cual decidí que solo fuese un postre. Mi recomendación al restaurante que bien repito sigue siendo de mis favoritos es que en este tipo de situaciones no busquen evadir que ellos son los responsables, si bien tal vez no se puede comprobar de dónde salió el gancho pero no buscar disuadir con argumentos que podrían poner a los comensales en una situación mas incomoda tomando en cuenta que si bien no es un lugar muy caro pero mínimo son cuentas de mil pesos en adelante por lo que no tiene sentido por parte de los comensales hacer algo así a propósito. Tengan mas cuidado en la elaboración de sus alimentos y espero que esta situación no vuelva a ocurrir pues creo que es un lugar con mucho futuro al cual sin duda volvería a ir pero no todos tomarían la situación de la misma manera y podría...
