McDonald's — Restaurant in Mérida

I was always under the impression that McDonald's, where absolutely nothing is actually cooked at the restaurant, would be able to provide food within a reasonable period of time after it's ordered. This branch of McDonald's, however, has apparently not bought into the concept. I paid, and I waited....to a point, where I could not wait any longer and had to leave, without my order. 20 minutes for a McMuffin? Really? Mind you, at 20 minutes my order was not yet on the horizon. One person at the register and one person filling orders is not going to get it done! So I hope you enjoy the little extra profit, because I was certainly not going to wait for a refund this morning....I can only hope that what you lose in future business with your terrible attempt at running a restaurant will far outpace the 95 pesos I had to leave in...

Simply terrible experience. I have been going here for a decade and this location has gone down hill. I haven’t visited here since before Covid. Last time I visited, the franchisee owner was present and it was excellent! He better get his staff or managers up to training or fire them and start over. Avoid at all costs and spend your hard earned money at a locally owned place. I ordered a quarter pounder and take a look at my pic and then google image search “quarter pounder and cheese” and see how it’s supposed to look, or at least resemble. My fries were cold and stale and staff were rude and unfriendly. They’ve also removed the drink machine so now no free refills, what a joke. Not to mention McDonalds in Mexico are more expensive than the USA, o I expect...

One thing you can usually count on with McDonald's is a Big Mac is a Big Mac whether you order it in New York or Tokyo. That is absolutely not true regarding this McDonald's location. I have never had the same Quarter Pounder with Cheese here. Same is true with a Big Mac here, or any classic McDonald's breakfast sandwiches. One day it's cold and stale the next time it has half the normal serving of cheese, or egg or ??? Whatever it is it will not be consistent. Well, It will be consistently cold. You night wait 15 minutes only to somehow be handed a cold hamburger and half frozen French fries.
