Something odd about this place. I have gone twice when it was supposed to be open, but it was closed. Read all reviews and it appears others have had the same experience, plus too mamy reviews about bad service. Some reviews seem a bit too much; seem rather disingenous. One review mentions their mescal is locally made, but this review has been removed This claim was very doubtful, most probably rebottled. They do not grow the kind of agaves that mescal is made from in Yucatan. Hardly think they import the agaves from say Oaxaca. Mescal distillation is an art not a process. Mescal Artisinal is highly regulated because of the potential for methanol and polyalcohols produced from poor distillation of the complexity of sugars from baked agaves. I give up...
