Restaurante Moorea — Restaurant in Mérida

This restaurant has some of the best food in the Yucatan!

Upon arrival at our table the staff brought a beautiful large plate of ceviche w limes and hot sauce w crackers...very tasty...a full appetizer size

We ordered Oysters Rockefeller, cheese stuffed jumbo shrimps & tuna tartare.

All 3 dishes were fabulous...the tuna tartare is served in a cube shape surrounded by a tomato sauce. The shrimps were plated w pumpkin squash and a lovely white sauce and roasted vegetables

We had no room for dessert and had to take some of our meal home as the portions are large. We will return soon for more plates and definitely dessert!

We have told all our friends & family in the region...this is a must...

One of the worst tasting foods I have had in Mérida! We had 3 different dishes and all of them were bad! I came so hungry , I didn't eat anything from early morning, we came around 4:00 pm and got a few drinks and I was ready for some good seafood, like most of the reviews said , that the food is so fresh and tasty, but it was just horrible, it tasted old, full of sugar and oil, I did eat some because of how hungry I was but really, should have just walked away to another place. The waiters were very nice and attentive, but whoever runs/owns that place doesn't understand anything about food, what a bad experience wow, I am quite amazed and angry at...

Fuimos a comer a este bonito restaurante, la verdad que vale la pena, cocina de mar diferente a todo lo que hay en Mérida. Platillos más elaborados, bien presentados, las mesas bien montadas, nos gustó para regresar y recomendar. Desde la botana de entrada que te la llevan sin cargo, las bebidas muy buenas, originales; y la.comida también muy buena. El restaurante tiene un área de bar que se ve agradable, hay vinos y licores disponibles, el lugar muy limpio, el menú incluye también carnes rojas y aves. Nos la pasamos muy bien, muy agradable, hay pocas mesas, llegamos sin reserva y a las 3pm ya estaba lleno. Recomendado las tablas de mariscos, bueno, todo realmente está excelente.
