Burger King Gigante Miramontes — Restaurant in Mexico City

I have now been to the King's palace! Who knew it was in Miramontes, Mexico City. This particular BK location surprised me with its remarkable setting alongside the picturesque Canal de Miramontes park, featuring lush trees and a comfortable walkway. The 45-minute walk from my place was absolutely worth it. I had an incredible experience.

I ordered the classic Whopper with cheese and fries, and it was nothing short of perfection fit for royalty. The flame-grilled beef patty, coupled with ketchup, pickles, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo, all sandwiched in a toasted sesame seed bun, made for a mouthwatering treat. The freshness of the ingredients was evident, and the burger was served piping hot with crisp veggies and just the right amount of condiments. The lightly toasted bun provided that satisfying snap and crunch while remaining delightfully soft. I couldn't help but notice that the Whopper here seemed larger than what I'm accustomed to in the USA.

The fries were also a standout - hot, crispy, and generously portioned. Among the numerous BK locations I've visited, this one stood out as the most inviting and tastefully decorated. Its modern, warm, and comfortable seating arrangements created a beautiful ambiance that felt more like a modern neighborhood restaurant than a fast-food joint. I was particularly impressed by the two-story layout, with the main dining area, play area, and restrooms on the second floor. The abundance of tables and seating options makes it perfect for gatherings and parties.

The décor, tables, lighting, walls, and flooring tiles all exuded sophistication and elegance, elevating the dining experience. I had the pleasure of interacting with Fernando, the manager, who was incredibly pleasant and welcoming, adding a personal touch to my visit. Edit at end. Its OK for a Burger King. Slightly upset at the scenes at the back door after seeing a friend of a worker entering the food prep area straight off the street, still in regular clothes and unmasked, not acceptable in todays society, hygiene in food areas should be important... The food was OK though.

Edit- well now not even the food is made correctly. The put the wrong sauces and ingredients in your burger. We ordered big king meals and ended up with I do t know what. Some ingredients were correct but... not all... mix and match lucky...

En la caja para pedir un paquete infantil la señorita sólo me ofrecío " de tomar lechita que por qué ya no había nada más" y me preguntó ¿Leche con hamburguesa siento que no se lleva? Le dije; ¿hay forma de cambiarla por refresco? Y me dijo un rotundo no, ok pues pedí diferentes hamburguesas... la srta. me preguntó que si con queso? a lo que yo respondí que sí, y ya abriendo mi hamburguesa y ya sentada una le faltó queso, honestamente pensé en bajar a decirles de ese queso, pero al final lo hice, me equivoqué de ticket y me lleve el Baucher por error, le digo a la señorita de mostrador y con una cara me dice necesito el ticket, subo de nuevo por el mugroso ticket se lo entrego y me cambia la hamburguesa muy de malas a lo que le respondo; oiga no es mi culpa que ustedes se hayan equivocado, y me responde: no hay personal necesario... Lo que le dije que eso no los exime a su responsabilidad de prestar atención a las comandas créame que no le venga a robar un queso en mi hamburguesa, es súper molesto que al cliente le pidan el ticket cuando sabemos que fue su error, te hacen subir y bajar dos veces, le sumo a qué el piso súper sucio, baños igual de sucios, y mesas no se diga......
