I hardly ever give bad reviews, unless it really needs it. The service here was mediocre. As a quick opening statement, I will say that tipping culture in Mexico is much worse than Canada or the USA, the servers here are money hungry and greedy to the point that they make it obvious. I try to ignore it many times but it’s hard when it’s the majority. First of all, there is no rule that I need to have an entree here. I stopped by with my mom to feel out the atmosphere and have a snack, as I stated I didn’t think I needed two full entrees, my mom wasn’t hungry but she wanted to accompany me. I’m not quite sure who was our original server because so many of them kept coming to the table, however, my drink order came attached with the chit and it had the name of Israel P.

Anyhow, they were being extremely pushy from the beginning that we get wine or a cocktail. We wanted just a pop and lemonade. The server made a face. I ignored it. He then came to ask if we wanted to order, I said I’d try the ribeye smash burger (which was delicious) and then he kept insisting if we wanted anything else, and because he was being pushy and rude, I had to be firm and serious in my tone and said “No, this is all we want for now, we may get something more later” — the server was never to be seen again, he nor any of the servers did a quality check, never came to check on us, if we wanted more drinks, napkins, nothing! When I finished my meal no one ever came to the table, I waited 25 minutes and I raised my hand and asked for the check to a random server, he said he’d let my sever know, another 10 minutes and nothing, I wave another server down and eventually they bring the check. At this point I was no longer tipping 25% which clearly, they didn’t deserve but after waiting for the check for so long I was sure now that I’d tip them 5% and frankly, I wish I didn’t even tip him that, because he was absolute garbage. These servers are self entitled, greedy and shameless. The check eventually is handed over to me, I ask for change and he said he’d come back, he never did, I then asked another worker to go ask my server for my change, and finally I got it. It was a hassle and beyond disrespectful. According to my chit, I was sat at table 23 today, Thursday, December 21, 2023.

Located in high end mall, we had reservations for 6pm on a Saturday. Arrived 30 minutes early and the place was packed with families and very loud. Not ideal for a romantic dinner. Decided to walk around the mall for the half an hour and then were seated promptly off to side in a relatively quiet corner of the restaurant.

No one came to our table for 15 minutes to offer us a drink or anything. Finally we got the attention of a server, who went and found someone from the bar to take our drink order. He stood next to my partner to tell us about the specials but it was so loud I couldn’t hear him. Not a problem, as I always order the same thing anyways. They took our wine glasses away and we never were given a wine menu.

Another server brought us chips, bean dip and a trio of salsas. We were happy now with our drinks. A third server took our order for appetizers. We ordered two.

Then a tray of fresh steaks were brought to our table and were told about each cut. This would be our main waiter and he was very pleasant. We decided to order three different taco plates to share.

We noticed the staff were very busy and the main waiter was training the others. We understood and simply enjoyed our drinks. By 7pm the restaurant became less crowded and the atmosphere more pleasant. We liked the music.

We ordered another round when the appetizers came. Our tacos arrived after that and the all of the food was absolutely fantastic.

After we finished our meal and drinks, the table was cleared and then we were forgotten. Our waiter had seemingly disappeared. No one asked if we wanted another round of drinks or dessert, which we were contemplating, as we had seen the dessert tray making the rounds to other tables earlier. After sitting there for another 20-30, we finally got the attention of another server, who told a different server who brought our bill, who then got another server to process our payment. It was all very confusing.

Our total tab after the tip was almost $3700. That is quite a lot of money for below average service. I doubt I...

Le fin de semana tube una experiencia como pocas, la verdad que mi espectativa no era tan alta ya que en otras de sus sucursales de la misma marca el servicio es pésimo seguido por los platillos y la atención más horrible

Mi esposa fue la qué quiso entrar al lugar donde de entrada resaltó la presentación por parte de las hostes, ya caminado hacia nuestra mesa la hostes nunca nos dejo muy atrás lo cual habla bien del lugar nos saludos muy amablemente el que preguntamos quien era el sr Pedro (gerente) gerente lo cual es muy poco común te saluden los gerentes a menos que se les dé dienro ya en nuestra mesa,

El capitán José Luis nos dio la bienvenida ofreciendonos de tomar y no lo más caro del lugar lo cual ya es diferente a muchos lugares.

Después Gerardo nuestro mesero nos atendió dándonos la explicación del concepto de el lugar y dándonos diferentes entradas a elegir sin saturar nos.

Nos decidimos por unos espárragos con rib eye qué Gerardo hizo que se nos antojara de buena manera y no desepciono el platillo.

Nuestro plato fuerte fue la costilla al horno y sin lugar a duda fue una exlente opción.

Y para culminar de poste ordenamos trufa de red velvet. Que sin temor a equivocarme fue la tercer mejor sugerencia de parte de Gerardo.

Todo esto esto bajo la supervision del capitán José Luis. Que por cierto nos recomendó unas copas de vino luis cañas a modo de maridaje

Sin lugar a duda nunca nos desatendieron siempre estuvieron pendientes, más nunca estuvieron de necimosos y menos interrumpiendonos en nuestra platica.
