El Huequito — Restaurant in Mexico City

Everyone loved this place! So far best tacos around. We actually stopped to get tacos to go as we were going to another restaurant for dinner but when we got there we couldn't get in so we went back and ordered more food. The AL pastor tacos were probably the best. We dis the street taco size then the homemade tortilla ones later. The homemade Tortillas are amazing! Do those. Get them sauced already with onions. My kids also ordered a torta, some quesadilla with al pastor meat and queso with sausage. Everything...

The personnel are incredibly attentive, even very late at night. All of them provide a great service. There are a lot of options in the menu and the place is well lit and alive, clean enough. The food is good but I had bad luck last time and caught a very nasty germ last time. Really disappointing because the place is really great most of the time. OJO DIRECCIÓN: ¿QUÉ ESTÁN HACIENDO?

No puedo entender cómo nadie se atreve a cambiar un menú que funciona —y uno de los tacos más ricos de México, el campechano de chicharrón norteño, por un campechano de puesto mediocre—.

ES INEXPLICABLE, EN PLENO BOOM DEL ORINOCO, QUE SU ÚNICO POSIBLE COMPETIDOR DECIDA QUITAR DE LA CARTA EL TACO MÁS RICO DE LA CIUDAD.

Tras haber considerado El Huequito durante años la mejor taquería de México —y haberla recomendado a todo el mundo— ha pasado a ser una taquería cualquiera —con un gran pastor, de acuerdo— en la que uno ya no encuentra no solo los campechanos, que por cierto siguen en la carta pero siendo otra preparación, ni los burros, tampoco el vegetariano por lo que olvídense de comer las pocas cosas que podían, ni los tacos de milanesa, ni un suero, ni una triste michelada.

Es tristísimo que de produzcan estos cambios que nadie pidió, que nadie entiende y que dan al traste con uno de los lugares icónicos de la colonia y la ciudad.

Una pena, más siendo vecinos de la Nápoles, pero ni yo ni ninguno de los 5 comensales que vinieron conmigo volveremos hasta que no vuelvan a tener la carta original que incluya aquellos platos...
