The place lives up to its name. Oftentimes, I find that Asian restaurants here tend to have the same generic flavors, but not this one. The flavors are complex yet balanced. The lemongrass chicken is something I could eat for every meal. The siracha aioli pairs perfectly with the marinaded chicken, and the vegetables are pickled to perfection - with just the right amount of acidity to offset the savoriness of the meat. The baguette is crispy on the outside and thin enough so that you still feel satisfied by the amount of protein. Read moreStumbled upon this fantastic place as I was wandering around the beautiful streets of Coyocan and after reading all the great reviews on Google I thought I would try for myself and along with my girlfriend we have fallen in love with Happy Banh Mi. We tried the lemongrass chicken and the Saigon beef baguettes which were both incredibly tasty my favorite was the chicken and my girlfriend's was the beef but both were awesome. The service is exemplary and very helpful plus we had the desert on the house- that was bloody good too! Can't wait...
