"The wife and I are regulars here, visiting at least once a week. We always start with the authentic miso soup, which never disappoints. Our go-to order is the Rollex roll and spicy tuna, which is consistently fresh and delicious. We cap off our meal with the Oreo ice cream - a sweet treat.

One tip: try to arrive around 10 minutes after opening to avoid a wait. However, be aware that the restrooms are located upstairs, which can be a bit of a challenge after a big meal.

While the food is consistently great, the staff can be hit-or-miss in terms of friendliness. Nonetheless, the quality of the food keeps us coming back. I'd give it 4 stars - the food is just that good, and I never get...

Hoy salí a cenar con Ingrid y Luca (esposa e hijo), como querían Sushi fuimos a Japanika. Nunca habíamos ido a ese lugar. Todo bien hasta el momento que llega la cuenta, saco mi Amex para pagar, y me dicen que no tienen Amex. Como no tengo otra tarjeta y el efectivo no era suficiente, me ofrecen darles los datos de mi IFE y que mañana pase a pagar. Le entregó la IFE y se la llevan........ Nunca la devuelven. Voy a reclamar a la dueña (una mal educada sin precedentes), quien me trata de ladron por no querer pagar la cuenta. Le exijo que me devuelva el IFE, y me contesta que está bajo llave y solamente me la regresara si pago o se la tengo que quitar a la fuerza. Después de 15 minutos de explicarle que no puede retenerme mis documentos, ya que es ilegal, Saco la tarjeta de mi trabajo, pago y me devuelve el IFE una vez que firme el ticket. Que vayas a cenar a un restaurant, que no tengan Amex y por eso te traten de ladron y encima te retengan el IFE contra tu voluntad. Impagable !!!! Para todos los que viven en Interlomas, sépanlo, Japanika es un lugar de cuarta, con dueños de quinta, mal educados, prepotentes. Nunca más vuelvo a ese pinche restaurant. Buen trabajo...
