La Reata de Oro — Restaurant in Mexico City

Pésimo servicio ...cuando llegamos ya teníamos una reservación 3:05 PM. la cual llegamos a tiempo .....nos sentaron en la mesa asignada ....y posteriormente no se si sea el supervisor del lugar fue a comentarnos que había llegado otra reservación. Más grande que la nuestra y necesitaban...nuestra mesa .....la cual se me.hizo de pésimo gusto. ...procedimos a levantarnos y sentarnos en la mesa asignada posteriormente...el personaje ....que comente anteriormente supervisor del lugar ....comento que por el inconveniente nos darían unas cortesías ....las cuales ....nunca llegaron....pasamos al bufete ..no hay tanta variedad ....en cuanto a platillos que van calientes ...estos estaban fríos....en la bebida....nuestro grupo teníamos en mente consumir una botella ..pero al ver los desplantes del mesero....pues nos quitaron las ganas ....acto siguiente en nuestra mesa se desrrama por accidente una bebida....la gente del lugar ....no limpio adecuadamente y una compañera....se accidentó en el lugar ....las personas del establecimiento....no tuvieron la empatía de acercarse y ver qué había pasado solo nos miraban, mejor unas comensales ....se levantaron y nos auxiliaron, después del incidente seguimos en lugar ...pero ya sin ánimos ya que personal de ahí ....nos veía con malas caras en especial un mesero y una chica que con mala actitud casi nos corren.... sinceramente ya con este tipo de acciones ni dan ganas de regresar y si esperamos en la mesa fue porque estábamos esperando a la.persona que iría por mi amiga y la llevará al médico

No vayan a ese lugar ...no lo recomiendo Ahora sí hicieron honor a su nombre Nos dieron...

So basically this place is a "cantina" which is definitely not my type of restaurant. However, I can say we had a pretty cool experience here. First of all, it is a buffet. Seafood being the main theme, but there are also some other dishes such as pork and beef. Best dish: snails. They were marvelous! Desserts are not that good but they work. Parking is difficult to find around the area, but they have valet parking in case needed. Worth to give it try at least once in...

Can’t be happier, great food, excellent service, super ambience, my highlights were the sushi, pierna but specially the ceviche peruano and shrimp cocktail. Prices were right for the type of food. The only thing is that the deserts were on the poor side but I got a flan with cajeta and it made the night. I recommend this place to anyone. Thank you to all the waiters we had a GREAT time.
