Great everything! The service was outstanding (Thanks Alfredo). Food was super delicious, it is not cheap but it is not overpriced either, at least the quality and portions are decent for what you pay. Loved the ribeye, great quality steak! The baked potato was delicious too. As an appetizer, the plantain “chalupas” with beef “tinga” are a must, and I was able to order 4 instead of the regular portion of 3. Drink menu was varied and the Mexican Caipirinha with mezcal was very tasty, (maybe the drinks could be a bit overpriced though). The dulce de leche dessert was big and very tasty, another must. The venue was nice, cozy, it can get a bit loud though and people can smoke in most part of the restaurant (those last 2 things would be the only cons). Reservations are a must as the waiting time was about 40 minutes for me as I did not book in advance. Overall, a great upscale option for a nice, fancy meal in Southern...

Today we were at Artz, there was a fight at one of the tables leading to physical contact. The restaurant managers did not know how to act, putting at risk the safety of all of us who were present.

The captains and manager were more concerned with closing the bill than restraint the person who was disturbing public order, he was yelling threats at other customers and even threatening the security of the plaza. NO ONE in the management approached us to ask if we wanted to change tables or if everything was ok, they just watched and of course charged the bill as soon as possible.

It is disappointing that they do not have internal security protocols and that they have not asked for the help of Mexico City police department.

Terrible experience. Training training training, it is worthless to have such a good place without action protocols. The aggressor returned to his table and was not removed from the place despite continuing to threaten customers and security personnel...

I've been to other Sylvestre's before and they do not fail. Great service, nice environment (mainly good background music) and delicious food! We ordered empanada, like banana small "sopes" (forgot their real name) and a steak along a bottle of wine and a carajillo + "merengue" for dessert. Everything was quite tasty. A must visit restaurant definitely. 😁
