Toks Villa Coapa — Restaurant in Mexico City

Well, from all the TOKS, I have visited so far, this is the worst. 1. Since when the waiter determines who orders first ? 2. When do they understand, you bring bread and drinks not with your meal, but before ! 3. Do not assume a Kid wants to have something from the Kids menu. You might get your order wrong. 4. If some have a soup or salad before their main dish, do not bring the main dish for the others. They have to wait, because the main idea is always, everyone should have their main dish together. 5. If you have a kid on the table and you recognize to give a paper place holder for entertainment, bring a crayon. 6. If you are wrong with the order because you assumed in nbr. 3, do not argue ! It is the worst you can do ! And due to 1-6 you will not get any tip, because error number 7, tip is not obligation, but depends on your "good" service, which in this case was far from being even acceptable. Now, the food is getting boring. There was a time TOKS change every couple month their menu and it was huge with great stuff, like salads, hamburgers, meet and all sorts of great flavors, but Insas shocked to see a bill this expensive in a Toks restaurant. Edito a 25/11/21 Qué triste que la actualización de mi reseña pase a negativa. ¿De qué sirve que en la entrada haya un montón de meseros/gente disponible si cuando te sientas, tardan un montón en llevarte incluso un vaso con agua simple?

Me imagino fue por la cocina, pero los platillos tardaron más de media hora en llegar; noté que al menos los comensales de 3 mesas distintas prefirieron retirarse. Incluso la mesera con pena le comentó a uno de ellos que no debía nada, que así lo dejara. En mi caso, tras el tiempo de espera, un platillo llegó frío y tuvimos que esperar otros 15 minutos para que lo trajeran caliente.

Tras la larga espera, acepto que la comida tiene buen sazón y es de una porción que parece justa para el precio. El agua del día que es de jamaica con guayaba estaba excelente.

Gente de Toks, deben darle prioridad a la presteza si no quieren que la gente se vaya.

Probé el agua de día que era de jamaica con frutos rojos y la comida estaba excelente. El servicio fue rápido y amable. Puedes facturar, pero considera que el documento te llega 1...

El lugar está bonito, la atención podría mejorar un poco y la comida... Pues depende de lo que pidas. Los chilaquiles no son los mejores que podrían encontrarse, simplemente están comestibles y te quitan el hambre, no hay un equilibrio entre el picor y el sabor de los tomates verdes y los totopos parecen estar horneados, no fritos... Y hace que en sí el platillo se sienta seco, los frijoles no son nada del otro mundo y le faltaron dos pesos de crema y queso, en resumen... Le faltó amor a los chilaquiles. La naranjada parece estar hecha de jugo natural y por eso quizá sabía un poco insípida pero estaba refrescante. Por otro lado con el pastel de chocolate hicieron volar mi mente y sobre pasaron mis expectativas. Está simplemente delicioso, un equilibrio perfecto entre dulce y amargo, no se satura el paladar y disfrutas cada bocado! Y el chocolate caliente: WoW! La carta afirma que es artesanal y definitivamente al probarlo te transportas a algún pueblito de Oaxaca. En general calificaría mi visita como agradable pero definitivamente podría mejorar...
