Felt like a criminal. Bland Food. Forgetful Service.

Context: the cashier where you pay is at the entrance.

When heading to form in line, restaurant workers pointed towards my wife and I and remarked “they’re trying to leave without paying” / “se van a salir sin pagar”.

Beyond wanting to confront, I was embarrassed and annoyed they thought I wouldn’t understand them. I’m fully bilingual, no accent in either language. I pass as white while my wife is fully Mexican

What about the food? Bland is an understatement. Worst pan de elote i’ve ever had. Meat was under seasoned and the molletes were cold.

And the service? we had to ask for everything twice. From the food to the menus. And the first time they brought the menus, another waitress took it away not even 10s later while my wife was in the bathroom.

We weren’t the only ones. The family in front of me at the register had their meal comped after they were completely ignored throughout their meal.

The place is classy and clean. Staff were nice but they sometimes would forgot to check up especially when we needed the check and we waited awhile. The biscuits was delicious...but the food was bland not delicious and looks like they just took it out of the fridge and warmed it up. Our juice was warm and even with ice it was warm. The food portion is small making it a bit pricey for how bland the food is and how small the portion is. It's a nice place to see but to revisit no. I thought this place was going to be delicious, people talked about it being delicious but only their biscuits...

Realmente esperaba más... El día de hoy 7 de abril del presente año, al rededor de las 5 de la tarde acudí al restaurante en la unidad de Jiutepec junto con dos personas más, hambrientos y sedientos entramos, nos recibió el jefe de unidad proporcionándonos gel anti bacterial y dándonos la bienvenida, escogimos una mesa en dónde nos atendió una amable y respetuosa mesera quien nos comentó sobre los paquetes mensuales, escogimos la suprema de pollo rellena de queso Oaxaca, nopales y longaniza en salsa pasilla junto con el consomés y el agua del día, todo en paquetes, el agua y las sopas llegaron bien, todo bien hasta que nuestro platillo principal demoro casi 40 minutos, cabe aclarar que en presencia estaba la jefa de piso, el jefe de unidad y la jefa Gisela, operadora del lugar, llegaban mesas después de nosotros y solo nos quedó observar como a los platillos de esas mesas si llegaban antes que los nuestros, nuestra mesera nos pidió disculpas haciéndonos saber que no había sistema y que por eso los platillos demorarían mucho. El restaurante no estaba saturado de gente y por lo que llegamos a observar no estaban cortos de personal, en ciertos instantes se senta una mala vibra y miradas provenientes de los jefes encargados del sitio. Mis acompañantes y yo decidimos irnos, sin haber comido nuestros platillos, y para el colmo nos cobran la entrada y el agua que consumimos.

Quizás fue discriminación o que se yo, pero esperaba más profesionalismo de parte de la franquicia.

La mesera muy amable y atenta, estamos seguros que culpa de ella no fue, pues en distintas ocasiones nos pidió disculpas por la tardanza exagerada e injustificada por parte de los encargados...
