I recently visited a Spanish restaurant called Iker and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. Firstly, the restaurant was located in a dingy, poorly maintained building that lacked any sort of charm or character. The interior was equally unimpressive, with outdated decor and uncomfortable seating.
Moving on to the food, I ordered a few traditional Spanish dishes including paella, chorizo, and gazpacho. To my dismay, the food was bland and tasteless. The paella lacked any real flavor and was served lukewarm. The chorizo was overcooked and dry, and the gazpacho was watery and lacked the traditional tangy taste.
The service was also subpar. The staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful. I had to ask for my water to be refilled multiple times and my server was unresponsive to my requests.
Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic Spanish dining experience. The food was unappetizing, the atmosphere was lacking, and the service was poor. There are far better Spanish restaurants in the area that offer a more enjoyable...
