This Spanish restaurant in Cuernavaca is unlike others. The place is spacious and beautiful, with a warm and friendly atmosphere — not too luxurious or cold. There was live music, but we wanted to talk, so we sat on their cute terrace. At the beginning, they gave a free complimentary treat from the restaurant — gazpacho made from tomatoes and guayaba. I was very surprised by the taste of gazpacho, and also by the taste of the espetos de camarón. The texture of the shrimp was like lobster! The beer was not ice cold. The fabada was a disaster. The beans were tiny and the broth salty and flavorless. The paella was bland. The chorizo a la Sidra was a great dish, as was the black rice and seafood dish. The croquettes were ok. 3 medium sized ones might without distracting sauces might have worked.
