My husband and I visited El Coyote Cosmico and had the best time! It’s definitely a little off the beaten path, but don’t let that deter you! Once you get there, it’s so worth it. What an incredibly special place! The food was delicious, we had amazing beef and pork belly tacos, and a wonderful guacamole. And the drinks were creative, fresh and so well made! A highlight was their “El Faisán” which is a drink made with Coconut & Chai Tequila Fat Wash, and Mexican Coffee with Pinapple and Chai Foam. It was delicious! Also their “El Gavilán” which is super refreshing - perfect for the hot weather! The staff was also so lovely! The owner talked with my husband for a while about mezcal. He was very knowledgeable and it shows in the care they’ve put into the cocktail menu. And our waitress, Gabi, was delightful! So friendly and attentive. She definitely steered us in the right direction on food and drinks! Truly a special little gem, I would recommend it to anyone visiting or living in the PVR/Nuevo Nayarit area!

Carlos Rojas has always been a flavor genius, and now this smoky kitchen is exactly what the area needed. The vibe is laid-back but full of character, and I’m definitely coming back soon!
