This place is really a cool find. I think it is a husband & wife why just open their carport as a restaurant, probably after he comes home from work because they don't open until 7:30 (the chef is there from 6:30, beginning on making the meat). The wife is also super, super sweet. It's just a lovely place.
Perry much like 1 think on the menu, Tacos de Suadero, which is like a mixed meat from what I could tell. Sausage, chicharron, etc. That they make in a huge, interesting, donut-shaped pot/pan.
And the tacos were phenomenal. So juicy. The salsas & lime were great & brought out a sorry nice flavor. I preferred the Al Pastor at Pancho's Takos, but the rest of my group said this was the best taco they've ever had. Super, super good.
Oh yeah, they also have the best Jamaica. It's flavorful & STRONG & refreshing. The kind you can just sip, because it has an amazing punch. LOVED this amazing find hidden down a rough dirt & cobblestone street near a park where different adult sports teams seem to practice...
Read moreThis place was awesome. Simple menu of only tacos with brisket or pork sausage but they were insanely delicious. Fresh lime and fresh salsa on a fresh hot taco that will blow your mind. The couple running the place were so kind and friendly as well. We showed up with 12 people(2 families with a mix of kids as young as 3). They arranged some tables and started preparing a meal we will never forget. This is definitely not a tourist area but we felt very welcome and safe. Super clean as well. It was really a memory we won’t forget. Thank you to the owners for being so welcoming and for feeding us a fabulous meal. I hope to come...
Read moreWe started with the most fabulous agua fresca hibiscus 🌺. A half a cup for us gringos. My stomach thought the calm seas had entered and I could drink this everyday. I felt the benefits of it immediately and it prepared a balanced stomach for the delicious chorizo taco and the beef taco 🌮. 😋 the chef knows what he is doing both in the food preparation and the folding in of his audience: all the hungry faces staring him down as our mouths water waiting for that plate to be our plate. Learn how to eat the food -- taco neck. Thanks Oscar the Man for a lovely food tour, sharing your...
