🐙Food: I thought I was in for a treat, the appetizer was outstanding, but my main dish was some “tostadas de chicharron de pulpo” and that was absolutely awful. The dead sea was less salty than this dish. I directly complained to the waiter and he tried making a lame excuse about it, saying that it was the result of deep frying the octopus to make chicharron. Like I would believe it. I’m Mexican, I’ve eaten this dish plenty of times. There was no exchange of the dish, no offer to reimburse, nothing to make it up. Important to say, I returned the dish almost in its entirety, I didn’t eat it. 🤵🏻‍♂️ Service: people were friendly, wasn’t expecting less from Mexican staff, but I was surprised by what happen with the food and their response. I rarely take the time to leave reviews, but I feel the need to give a shoutout to an awesome place that we discovered very serendipitously. Our experience at Brutal was nothing short of spectacular, both for the flavor of what we ate and the staff's hospitality. The food was simply amazing, and our server Umberto made the experience so much better by giving us the best recommendations. Him and the restaurant's manager really went the extra mile to take care of us and make sure we had the best time, stopping by to ask us how everything was goin without ever being invasive. Desde el momento en que crucé sus puertas, fui recibido con una atención digna de una estrella. La cortesía del equipo fue palpable desde el inicio, interesándose en el motivo de nuestra visita – en este caso, un aniversario – y logrando que cada detalle hiciera honor a la ocasión. ¿Cuántos lugares se toman el tiempo de personalizar la experiencia desde el saludo inicial? Muy pocos, se los aseguro.

El ambiente del lugar es una combinación de calidez y estilo, con una iluminación y balance visual que invitan al disfrute. Aunque sería interesante ver una adaptación temática para épocas como Navidad, con un toque de elegancia que seguramente podrían dominar, su encanto actual no deja de ser cautivador.

El recibimiento en la mesa fue casi teatral: más de tres personas prepararon cuidadosamente cada detalle mientras nos explicaban las especialidades del menú, haciéndonos sentir como verdaderos protagonistas de la velada. La comida, simplemente exquisita. Desde la primera entrada hasta el último bocado, cada plato fue una obra maestra en sabor, presentación y estilo. Una experiencia culinaria impecable.

Lo que Brutal Kitchen Bar logra no es solo servir una cena, sino ofrecer una experiencia que supera las expectativas y redefine el estándar del servicio en Monterrey. ¿Qué están haciendo? Lo correcto, lo extraordinario, lo inolvidable. Y mi consejo es simple: no dejen de hacerlo, porque, sin duda, volveré a celebrar y a disfrutar, feliz de haber encontrado un lugar que entiende y honra el verdadero arte de la hospitalidad.
