Tacos Orinocos is quite simply the best thing I've ever eaten in my life. Every time I eat the tacos here (and that's pretty often) I feel like I'm having an out of body experience. The chicarron is to die for. Literally, it will clog my arteries and I will die happy. All their salsa is amazing. Love the papas, and the jamaica is something I write to my mom about. There will be a number of things I'll miss if I leave Monterrey, but this is the thing I'll have dreams about. I feel incredibly fortunate that my favorite food on the planet is just...

Delicious tacos, some of the best I've had. The "pirata" (gringa with carne asada) is a solid value as it has the meat of 3 tacos plus cheese, for a little more than the price of two. Also the papas they serve are yummy. The meat is of excellent quality and flavor, though a bit on the salty side for my tastes.

Their salsa selection is also a highlight and comes with a few you wouldn't find in normal taquerias.

My only complaint is that the seating area upstairs is stiflingly hot. They could use some better...

Luxury tacos, you can pretty much find a lot of other taco stands and locales that are cheaper. However, the salsas are amazing and pretty much make these tacos worth going to every now and then, unless you can easily afford it, in which case I'd go every other day. Parking's not great on busy nights since there's only about 9 spots, but otherwise I totally recommend trying these tacos at least once while...
