Alchemy Coffee Lab — Restaurant in Nuevo León

Very cozy cafe. It's literally a house turned into a cafe so it can't get any homey-er than that. The main gimmick is that you're served your beverages in chemistry glasses (it's neat the first couple of times but afterwards you kinda don't notice it to be honest). They also have WiFi available so you can even use it as a place to hang out and do homework. There's a room in the middle (probably the living room) where you can sit in couches around a large table although it seems to always be taken when I stop by, not sure if you have to make a reservation for it or something. Towards the back there's more spaces to chill out/do work. The patio out back is the more "romantic" area, featuring lightbulbs hanging over the tables, although that area is usually too warm in hot weather to enjoy. Parking is not very available, there's about 4 spaces in front of the actual cafe, if you don't get one, you'll have to find somewhere to park nearby. The staff are very nice and your food and drinks are often in front of you within 10 minutes of ordering. The only other issue I can think of is that the area where they prepare the drinks is directly in front so if you're sitting in that area, you'll be hearing that blender go off every time someone orders a frappe, which is often. Otherwise, this is definitely a nice cozy place to go have coffee and do some homework or just relax. Must visit at least once...

Me encantó.

No sabía si sería el lugar indicado para mí, porque buscaba un lugar para trabajar y muchas cafeterías dicen que son “para trabajar” pero no hay enchufes y tienen mesas súper pequeñas, sin embargo, este no fue el caso.

Desde que llegamos nos recibieron los hosts como si fuera restaurante, nos llevaron a nuestra mesa y nos ofrecieron los menús, también estuvieron súper al pendiente todos, preguntando si todo bien, haciendo recomendaciones y llevándose los vasos vacíos, también que tardaban NADA en limpiar cuando alguien se iba, una recogía y otro limpiaba y el espscio quedaba listo para recibir a más gente en dos segundos.

Si buscas lugar para trabajar: es el indicado. Si buscas un lugar para comer: también. Si buscas algo para tomar una café en una date o con amistades: también es tu lugar.

Me gustó la variedad de mesas, tenían mesas grandes para quienes vamos a estudiar/trabajar con enchufes para cada una, también tenían mesas pequeñas para 1-4 personas que vayan a comer o tomar una bebida, y mesas grandes redondas. No vi si había más espacio, creo que tienen otro cuarto o un patio pero no pasé para allá.

El lugar es muy lindo, la decoración está increíble, el concepto está muy bien implementado en todo: diseño menú, nombre de las bebidas/platillos, en la pared, en los objetos de decoración, los vasos están muy bonitos.

No probé la comida pero se ve rica y me gusta que hay variedad, el chef no tuvo miedo de innovar y crear nuevos platillos que se ven muy interesantes (las bebidas también).

Las bebidas que probamos estaban muy ricas, un frappe y un oat olla latte (bebida de temporada).

El lugar es muy bonito y cómodo, el personal súper atento. Muchas gracias por todo, volvería...
