80 USD for two people lunch, i expected a lot from that... 30 USD for a half duck was already crazy expensive... The chicken arrived and it was obviously any frozen compressed thing which wasn't nice... Then the rice with egg arrived, that was ok but nothing what i would order again... The next were the oily pasta, that was in fact good but they added raw onions which was for sure not good... Then we had a dumplings and they were really not nice... The spring rolls were so so but for a restaurant really too bad Whatever, i was waiting my duck and then it came... Cold, served like a half chicken full with bones... I tried a piece and it was like rubber... So i tried more and it was not eatable... The waitress came and asked of it's to go and i said that its cold and super bad and that i don't like it... At the end i paid the full price plus tip... So the best in all was the Coke and this restaurant is the worst Chinese restaurant i ever tried worldwide... My recommendation to them, change your Menu into Tacos because those food isn't working for you... Next plan is McDonald's to remove the flavor from my mouth and i hope that i will not end up...
Read moreI used to consider this place a good one to get dim sum in Monterrey however after today everything changed.
Let's start with the service. Food came before drinks after waiting quite a long time. Some of the food was cold (pork meatballs) and we finally got drinks at the half way of food service.
Payment options. If you are traveler and wants to pay with your credit card of your country this is not a place for you. This place used to accept international credit cards without any issue and at the time I need to pay they came with a warning saying that internationals credit cards are no longer accepted only domestic or cash. They should warn the people before order their food and not wait until you have to pay to let you know that.
Ita totally disappointing that a good place like this became of what it is...
Read moreFirst time dining in this restaurant .Waiter/resses were attentive ,but food took excessive time to serve . Obviously ,these food servers were not trained on which to serve first . The "starters' became the last food to be served . Main entrees came first without the rice . We ordered several items .I would say some were pretty delicious ,some were never to be ordered again ,including the siumai, dumpling and chicken feet .the first two ,ingredients were not fresh .i love their short spare ribs and fried chicken ,the rest were forgettable . hope there will be another Dimsum Rest to compete with this business,as price wise ,its expensive ,monterrey's standard. Have dined in dozens of Dimsun Rest globally .So, i know pretty well. However, will go back and try other...
