Cafetería y Pizzería Bella Ciao — Restaurant in Playa del Carmen

I have not encountered such horrible customer service and food in a long time. Our pizza actually had almost no cheese or sauce on it

Here are the details of our horrible experience ordering from Bella Ciao:

The owner advertised a special for a large pepperoni pizza for 120 pesos on a sign in front of his place. So, we ordered a large pepperoni pizza, but after we ordered it he tried to charge us 200 pesos in order to eat the pizza there. When we told him that we would not pay an extra 80 pesos to eat the pizza there, he got mad at us. Eventually, one of his staff members handed us our pizza in a box. Wow I really cannot believe how rude the (I assume) owner is. Ive never in my life been spoken to so condesending. Coffee extemely average and cold, let that go as its super hot today and I just dont care. Went to use the bathroom and was dressed down by an ununiformed man for not "asking in his house" possibley mentally ill. I assume owner as the lovely woman who served me (who I was walking towards to ask after the restroom) didnt say anything. 8:30pm and this place is nearly empty, because EVERYONE is up the street at Boston Pizza!! Bella Pizza is bad from the crust up, dry and tasteless. The friendly Italian owner has no clue. My god man, forget everything you know and LEARN what customers want!! You have an excellent location and cute shop. Don't waste it with bad food. And you need a beer...
