I had the pleasure of visiting Cacao y Cacao in Cholula on a weekend in October 2024. As a tourist, I always appreciate recommendations from locals, and I’m truly grateful they directed me to this exceptional restaurant.
Situated conveniently along the main road, Cacao y Cacao is easily accessible and features nearby pay-and-park facilities, making it stress-free for visitors to enjoy their meal without parking concerns.
Upon arrival around 12:30 PM, I was warmly welcomed by the attentive staff, who quickly seated me and provided excellent service throughout my visit. The menu offered a diverse range of dishes, and upon asking for recommendations, the staff and chef exceeded my expectations with their choices—the food was absolutely superb.
A particular highlight of my experience was a delightful conversation with the owner, who graciously explained the various dishes served and even provided insightful recommendations on must-see tourist attractions in the Puebla area. This personal touch added to the overall experience, making it even more memorable.
The staff at Cacao y Cacao were not only professional but also genuinely polite and accommodating, contributing to the restaurant's warm, welcoming ambiance.
For anyone visiting Puebla, especially food enthusiasts, I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant—it’s a true gem you won't...

The place is cozy and the waiters are extremely attentive to you and try to please you in any way. The food was served fast nevertheless that fact that all the tables were occupied. They put such a thin slice of roast beef that I didn't feel it at all while eating. All the flavour was dry bread and cucumber. The served salsa and chips were ok. As for cacao drink, I also wasn't satisfied with it. It had an uniform consistency with some crumbles on the bottom. Definitely not...
