Calabria Pizza y Pasta — Restaurant in Puebla

I was really looking forward to eating here but was thoroughly disappointed. We had a salad which was pretty good, spaghetti bolognese, eggplant parm and panna cotta. We also had aperol spritz. The eggplant parm was inedible. I tried to like it but the cheese was so bad, it was the worst eggplant parm I have ever had. I don’t think there was parmesan in it only quesilla. I told the waiter it was not good and why. He took it back to the kitchen and didn’t offer a substitute nor did he take it off the bill. The bolognese was just ok, not much meat but a lot of carrot which my husband liked. The panna cotta was so so, looked pretty but texture was more gelatinous than creamy like panna cotta should be. Excellent, one of the best pizzas I've had in Mexico. As an Italian I'm usually disappointed but this place is good (just maybe 3 minutes more in the oven and pizza would have been Perfect) But please when sending delivery - I need a fork. Desde hace varios años fue mi lugar favorito para deleitar una buena comida con auténtico sabor italiano. Lamentablemente este fin de semana fue una experiencia desagradable, realizaron una ampliación pero desafortunadamente el personal no era suficiente para cubrir la demanda de la cantidad de comensales que eramos. Debido a esto, se notaba la desorganización y el estrés. A los meseros con tantas mesas por atender se les olvidaban los pedidos, llevaban doble los pedidos o te avisaban que ya no había algo después de 1 hora que lo habías pedido (cuando a otros comensales les avisaban 30 minutos antes). En cuanto a la comida, el sabor estuvo más o menos bien aunque las porciones eran menos que en las ocasiones anteriores. Me hubiera gustado que antes de ingresar hubieran sido sinceros y decir que el servicio estaba lento y que se podía esperar hasta una hora por la comida y así uno podía decidir si se quedaba o no.
