Kafetissimo — Restaurant in Puebla

The inner atmosphere of this restaurant is cosy and romantic, especially the view from the window if you manage to take a place there. My husband and I visited this restaurant for having a late breakfast. They offer a list of different main dishes which include a refilled coffee (de olla), a glass of juice, a plate of fruits (a bit of watermelon and grapes sprinkled with honey and amaranto seeds) and a sweet bread. I ordered an omelette which should be served with frijoles refritos and ensalada according to their menu. The main dish was delicious (except totopos which were used as decoration)and frijoles too, but they didn't give me my ensalada. The juice (of guayaba) was too sugary. And they had only two types of sweet breads - concha and cuernito. I wish they had a greater choice. All of these cost 139$. Another disadvantage was that fact that only one waiter was available there on Sunday morning! That is why I suppose he didn't serve everything and wasn't as attentive to the guests of the restaurant as it requires. Plus the music played there was a bit loud and not of a good choice. Se lleva el 10 de 10. Si bien la fachada puede resultar un poco engañosa al ser una casona con algunos añitos encima, por dentro es una grata y amena sorpresa. Personalmente, probé la carta de la cafetería, pero me parece que también cuenta con restaurante, por lo que en este caso me centro solamente en lo que tuve oportunidad de probar.

Las porciones están muy bien servidas y para los precios que manejan, la verdad es que están bastante bien. Su oferta de café es bastante variada y hay para todos los gustos; desde el clásico café americano, hasta una propuesta bastante interesante llamada Malteada Kafetissimo, la cual encontré bastante equilibrada al ser dulce (pero no tanto para empalagar) y con un contraste perfecto del sabor del café.

En cuanto a la comida que ofrecen, no puedo decir más que está bastante sabrosa. Tienen un buen toque en cuanto a sabor y como ya comenté anteriormente, los platillos son de porciones generosas. Sus ensaladas son muy ricas, personalmente las probé sin aderezo y francamente no les hace ninguna falta.

El servicio es atento, muy amable de parte de las y los meseros quienes te reciben de manera muy cálida y están al pendiente de los comensales en todo momento. Un servicio rápido, eficiente y amable.

El ambiente, por último y no menos importante, es muy cálido, acogedor y se presta para pasar un muy buen rato platicando. Ideal para ir en familia, con amigos y pareja, ofrece un concepto que muy rara vez se encuentra en lugares dentro de la capital y con todo lo antes mencionado.
