Posada La Plazuela — Restaurant in Puebla

My family of three stayed in room #9 for three nights - it’s a family room with beds for 6 (although there isn’t much space for luggage so we use one bed as a luggage rack). This room overlooks the charming plazuela and has two balconies where we spent a lot of time reading, taking photos, or just watching life go by. We absolutely adored the view. The room wasn’t perfect since there was typically no WiFi there (the hotel really needs to install a WiFi extender to serve this room!), the lighting was harsh (just one switch for three harsh ceiling lights - no beside lamps at all), and the bathroom was a bit odd. However, the location and view made up for these issues, and we really enjoyed our stay there. We also found all of the staff to be extremely nice, helpful, and responsive. Okay so this place really sucked. Like we got there around 8 and we got a two rooms one three bed and a two bedroom. 2,200 pesos. Which is fine except for the fact that we had to be out by 12pm. They were nice I guess, but they tried to scam us out of 300 pesos for being an hour late. Even though we tried to pay to stay some extra time because we needed the room till 6. We were alittle late and they kept calling us to get outr stuff and leave because they had already reserved the room to someone else. Right when we were going to leave they tried to charge us. But we made it clear that a late fee was never indicated and they were practically kicking us out. I’ve never had such a mad experience at a hotel. And honestly this hotel was nothing crazy.
